In The UK we are a small team, with ambitious development plans therefore we are looking for someone eager to develop new accounts from scratch. Our specialization encompasses a diverse assortment of products and solutions meticulously designed to secure, lift, and optimize cargo throughout the transportation chain.

In alignment with these ambitious expansion plans, we are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced External Sales Professional. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our growth initiatives, focusing on cultivating new business opportunities and reinforcing our market presence in designated sectors.
As such you will be responsible and have experience in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives within specific industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in One Way Securing or Lorry Body Building, but this is not a pre-requisite. This role requires a deep understanding of business development along with associated challenges and opportunities. As well as the ability to forge strong relationships with key industry players. This is predominately an external role where you will be expected to manage your pipeline and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Head up sales strategy in targeted market sectors to convert sales and achieve growth objectives.
- Analyse sales data make informed strategic decisions and report on sector performance to senior management.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
- Tailor sales and marketing approaches to meet the unique demands of your sector.
- Foster long-term relationships with sector-specific customers and industry influencers.
- Represent Forankra UK at sector-related events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of sales experience with a proven successful track record,
- Demonstrable ability to develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies.
- Strong closing skills and ability to covert.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a commercially aware but customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel UK and Europe.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in market analysis and business development.
- Customer knowledge and understanding of product lines relevant to your industry sector.
- Digital marketing skills
